Humabiologics, Inc., a leader in human-derived biomaterials for regenerative medicine, is seeking a Biomaterials Operations Associate to support our growing operations in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient production of biomaterials products, optimizing workflows, and maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The Biomaterials Operations Associate will collaborate across teams to drive operational excellence while supporting the company’s mission to provide clinically relevant biomaterials that advance medical research and innovation.
The Biomaterials Operations Associate will play a key role in overseeing manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, conducting quality control testing, and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and support day-to-day manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Conduct tests and inspections on products to verify compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, test results, and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations, cGMP standards, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role, preferably in the life sciences, medical devices or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements in the biomedical field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with process analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and laboratory equipment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation/Benefits
This position offers a base salary in the range of $42,000–$52,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, the role is eligible for a quarterly or annual performance-based bonus. Benefits are structured as additional cash compensation, providing flexibility for employees to allocate based on their individual needs. The position also includes 14 days of paid time off (PTO), in addition to sick leave.
