Biomaterials Product Liaison

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomaterials Product Liaison at Humabiologics, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. Under the supervision of the Senior Biomaterials Product Liaison, the Biomaterials Product Liaison acts as a crucial link between Humabiologics and its customers, ensuring effective communication, technical support, and alignment of products with customer needs and industry standards.
Education & Work Experiences Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Life Sciences). Advanced degree is desired.
- 0-2 years of sales or customer service experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of biomaterial properties, applications, and development processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of using customer relationship management (CRM) software and relevant technical tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Report to Senior Biomaterials Product Liaison and any duties associated.
- Identify potential clients through research, outreach, and networking.
- Assist senior sales team members with sales presentations, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential market opportunities.
- Maintain regular contact with clients, providing information, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Prepare sales documents, proposals, and reports for the sales team.
- Update and maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Connect with scientists and researchers in academia and industry by leveraging emails, social media platforms, and other digital channels. Actively promote human biomaterials through tailored presentations and participation in conferences and webinars.
- Offer expert guidance and support for the implementation and use of biomaterials, including troubleshooting and tailored solution recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and assist in the seamless integration of biomaterials into their research or clinical applications.
- Work closely with internal teams, such as Product Development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Customer Service, to ensure product offerings meet client needs and comply with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to biomaterial product specifications, implementation procedures, and client feedback. Ensure documentation is accurate and readily available.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback and market insights to the product development and marketing teams to drive product enhancements and innovations in biomaterials.
- Prepare reports on product performance, client satisfaction, and project outcomes to support strategic decisions and continuous product improvement.
